Sleep through the ride. Wake up at your stop.

Location Alarm clock is an arrival alarm for trains and buses. Pin a station, arm it, lock the phone, and get a system notification when you are close enough to get off.

How it works

1

Drop a stop on the map

Search a station or bus stop, or use your current location. Choose the alert radius and a ringtone.

2

Arm it, then sleep

Turn the stop on before you travel. Lock the screen. You can arm up to 20 stops at once.

3

Get a system alert

When you enter the radius, iOS sends a notification. The stop disarms automatically so it does not keep ringing.

Built for sleepy commutes

Backup timer

Paste the minutes Google Maps shows for the trip. If GPS is late in a tunnel, the timer still asks whether you have arrived.

Works with the screen off

With Always location allowed, geofences keep watching while the phone is locked. The backup timer is a local notification, so it fires even if the app is closed.

Sound and vibration

Pick Bell, Chime, Alarm, or Train. Turn sound or vibration off if you only want one of them.

50 display languages

Follows your iPhone language by default. You can pin a language in Settings and the app remembers it.

Location stays on the phone

No account. No location cloud.

Stops, timers, and language choice are stored with Apple’s on-device database. The app does not create a user login or send your map pins to our servers.

Always location, narrow purpose

Always access is requested so iOS can wake the geofence while you sleep. The app monitors only the stops you armed. Details are on the privacy policy.

Questions people ask

Will it still work if I lock the phone?

Yes, if location is set to Always. Region monitoring and local notifications are handled by iOS after you arm a stop. If permission is only While Using, alerts may stop after the screen locks.

Does Silent mode mute the alarm?

Alerts use standard iOS notifications. If the iPhone is in Silent mode, you may feel vibration but not hear sound. Keep vibration on if you plan to sleep.

Is GPS exact underground?

Tunnels can delay GPS. Use a larger radius and the backup timer from Google Maps travel time as a second line of defense.
