Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Location Alarm clock (Chinese name: 到站提醒), published by Chunwa Creative Limited (“we”, “us”), handles information on iPhone and iPad. The public website is locationclock.youroldbest.com.

Summary

• There is no account and no sign-in.
• Saved stops, timers, and language preference stay on your device.
• Location is used to place pins, show distance, and fire geofence alerts for stops you armed.
• We do not operate a cloud service that receives your GPS trail or stop list.
• This website does not set advertising cookies.

Who we are

Location Alarm clock is an iOS app for arrival alerts on trains and buses. Contact: tommy@chunwacreative.com.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData / UserDefaults):

• Stop name, map coordinates, alert radius, ringtone, sound and vibration settings, armed state.
• Optional backup timer duration and deadline.
• Your language choice if you override the system language.
• Onboarding and tip flags (for example, whether you dismissed the timer tip).

Deleting the app removes this data from the device, subject to any iCloud device backup you have enabled in iOS itself.

Location

The app asks for When In Use location to drop a pin, search nearby, and show distance on the home list. It asks for Always location so iOS can deliver a geofence notification while the screen is locked or the app is in the background.

Location is used only to watch stops you saved and armed. The app does not build a movement history for advertising, and it does not upload coordinates to our servers. Map search uses Apple MapKit on the device.

iOS itself may process location to provide region monitoring. That processing is controlled by Apple’s system, not by a server we run. You can change or revoke location access in iOS Settings → Location Alarm clock → Location.

Notifications

Arrival alerts and the backup timer use Apple local notifications. Notification titles and bodies are generated on the device. We do not send remote push through our own servers.

Microphone, photos, contacts, tracking

The app does not request microphone, photo library, contacts, or App Tracking Transparency. It does not include a third-party advertising or analytics SDK.

This website

The marketing site is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages at locationclock.youroldbest.com. Pages are public. We do not require a login. Cloudflare may process standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) to operate the CDN and security, under Cloudflare’s own terms. We do not embed third-party ad networks on these pages.

Children

The app is a travel utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not use the app to track another person.

Your choices

• Disarm or delete a stop at any time in the app.
• Turn off location or notifications in iOS Settings.
• Delete the app to remove on-device stops we stored.
• Email us if you have a privacy question about the website or the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, when required, the copy inside the App Store listing.
